In this video, Gorgone demonstrates in a short session with her model Jewerlyandfire what can be done with a single rope by using and combining the concepts and techniques that she teaches in the┬аShibari Beginner Course. Shibari can be highly technical and intricate but before loosing ourselves in the fancy techniques, we should remember that bondage can also be a sensual, playful and emotional practice. The rope is an extension of our body. We can use it to restrain, move, pull, push, squeeze... It can be soft and gentle like a caress or rough and assertive. The panel of sensations and emotions available is infinite! Rope is only a tool to communicate; itтАЩs the language, not the subject. The key elements of a rope dialogue are rhythm (fast/slow), space (close/far) and tightness (strong/soft).
