Paschal Vespers at St Michaels Abbey - #stmichaelsabbey #catholic #easter #vespers

One of the greatest moments of Easter glory at the Abbey occurs during Paschal Vespers when the community processes from the baptismal font towards the altar chanting the “Ad Cenam Agni Providi” — “towards the wedding feast of the Lamb”. May this short glimpse of Easter joy be a source of encouragement in this season of Pre-Lent, as we begin to prepare our body and soul for the great feast of Easter. Please join us for Ad Cenam Agni — an Abbot’s Circle Lenten program which will consist or daily reflections and weekly videos presented by the Norbertine canons of St. Michael’s Abbey. Although many of you may not be able visit our abbey in person during the season of Lent, we pray you benefit greatly from this virtual retreat which will allow you to journey with our abbey community towards the glory of Christ’s resurrection!
